Empty Space Players is the student organization that supports all performing arts activities at LSUA, with primary attention going to the five major theatrical productions of the university. Other activities have included participation in trips to see theatre or dance, in workshops, in orientations to campus, and in community service projects. (For example, the students of ESP are responsible for the technical support of Threads, the cancer-survivor fashion show, which raises funds to fight cancer.)

ESP is composed both of majors and those who are interested in theatre for the fun of it (it’s a great hobby!) We include technicians, painters, costumers, and carpenters as well as actors.

The organization meets formally twice a semester and informally throughout the year for socializing or for work on productions. Each year a slate of officers is elected to oversee ESP for the coming year. Ideas for new projects are always welcomed.

Try us out. We think you’ll like us.

Our current officers include:
Cassandra Mealer, president
Jessica Double, vice president
Mary Falterman, secretary
Belle Rollins, treasurer

GHOSTS--Ibsen's masterpiece was captured in sterling performances from Matt Everett as Pastor Manders, Karen Slatten as Mrs. Alving, and Dustin Johnson as Oswald.
