::Attendance Guidelines::
Parking:
Free parking is available in front of the
Fitness Center, across the street, or in the
rear. Handicap ramps provide an entrance at the
rear of the building, where the elevator is
located.
Restrooms: Restrooms
are located on the first floor of the Fitness
Center.
Cellphones:
We ask that you check to make sure that you have
turned off all cellphones, pagers, and other
noise makers so as not to disturb audience
members and the actors on stage.
Children:
Many of the shows produced during the school are
not appropriate for children so we ask that no
children under 12 be brought to productions
designated as “not appropriate for children.”
Restless children can disturb fellow audience
members and the actors on stage.
Flash photos:
Because they can be distracting to both actors
and audience members, flash photographs should
not be taken during the performance. If you let
us know before the show, we will glad to stage a
couple of shots for you after the show is over.
Student credit:
If students are attending a performance for
class credit, they will need to get their
programs signed by a Speech/Theatre faculty
member at the box office after the show.
Programs will not be signed any earlier.
Shakespeare-on-the-Greene: We do our
annual Shakespeare outdoors on the campus lawn
in front of the library. Please bring lawn
chairs with you if you attend these al fresco
productions. Also, be forewarned:
if a train passes during the performance, our
actors will freeze and suspend the moment until
the train passes and quiet is restored.
Nothing beats Shakespeare in the open air!
